New product: Classique 8oz Disposable Wine Glasses

This is a new product from our premium range of disposable plastic products. We’re frequently asked for a high quality and sturdy Wine Glass that’s still classed as a disposable product. Up until recently we would have recommended the ECON range of reusable Wine Glasses, available in either 5oz or 12oz sizes, however the most popular serving of wine is 175ml (6oz to the line). In addition, the ECON (Crystal Polystyrene) reusable products do not work out very cost-effective when used as a single-use product.

The Classique 8oz Wineglass aims to fill this gap in our range, giving customers a high quality disposable option where a standard measure of wine is to be served. The 8oz size is the maximum capacity, obviously you wouldn’t serve Wine in this fashion so the item contains a line to denote the 175ml fill mark.

Although this product is disposable, the plastic is at least 50% thicker than the nearest comparable disposable product from our range, this gives the glass unparalleled rigidity for a disposable Wineglass. Although we don’t advertise the goblets for this use, it would be possible to rinse and reuse the item if you so desired, providing a cool wash is used and you’re not putting them in a glass washer.

New 5oz Reusable Plastic Wine Glasses

These 5oz reusable wine glasses are now back in stock and available for immediate dispatch. Designed to be continually reused, these stemmed polystyrene glasses are strong enough to withstand commercial use in pubs and bars.

The product has been tested for visible degradation in excess of 100 cycles in the glass washer and is available with or without a CE stamp, this makes them ideally suited to both private functions and use at licensed premises.

The 125ml size is comparable to a small glass of wine, or a sampling glass. The dimensions are:

Plastic Champagne Flutes for the Olympics

One of the most commonly requested products on the run-up to the 2012 Olympic games so far has been an affordable disposable champagne flute, specifically for use at outdoor celebrations, events at bars, or even just for use in the home.

In anticipation of the upcoming festivities, we’ve obtained increased stock of our popular 6.6oz / 184ml plastic champagne glass in order to meet the demand.

Our disposable flutes are made from high clarity crystal-clear plastic with no visible clouding, this is the same crystal-styrene used on our range of plastic wineglasses. Unlike some other cheap plastic champagne glasses available, these flutes are single-piece items, especially beneficial where larger quantities will be required. In addition to the obvious additional time required to assemble the item, we find that the bases can be prone to falling off unexpectedly.

New and improved 6oz (175ml) Plastic Wine Glasses

We’ve revised the design of the popular 6oz size of disposable plastic wine glasses.  These now feature a more traditional stem and base design, this mean that the glasses are now easier and more comfortable to hold.

In addition to the aesthetic changes to the wine glass, we’ve also increased the thickness of the plastic used on the product; the end result is stronger wine glass that will not flex as easily when filled with liquid.

Despite these improvements we have been able to maintain our current price point of £13.99 per case (144 glasses per case). Although often overlooked, the packaging of this product has been specifically designed to be extra-durable – the thick double walled boxes help to ensure that you don’t encounter breakages or other carriage related defects.

Reusable Plastic Wine Glasses

Event Supplies are pleased to announce we have introduced two new Reusable Wine Glasses

Our new 5oz Reusable Plastic Wine Glasses and 12oz Reusable Plastic Wine Glasses are available from just £39.95/100 and £33.60/50 respectively. These glasses are manufactured from SAN material (styrene acrylonitrile), are machine washable, have good strength and clarity and can withstand dropping but not standing on. SAN Plastic Glasses look like glass and SAN is a tough plastic that can take a lot of heavy usage.

All our glasses are manufactured to European and US Food and Drug Approval.
